Launching the PRISE Lab

Together with Erin Litzow, I am co-directing the Policy Research in Sustainability and Economics (PRISE) Lab at UT Dallas. PRISE is a research hub in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences dedicated to understanding critical challenges in environmental sustainability, energy, and economic inequality. We focus on the human impact of environmental and economic shocks, particularly how they affect marginalized populations.

Our research spans hurricane impacts in the U.S., tropical forest losses, energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, and pollution effects worldwide. Students in the lab work on topics ranging from climate and political accountability to conservation program effectiveness and clean energy adoption.
